The Doug Fleenor Design Enhanced Splitter includes all the features of Doug Fleenor’s standard models with added protection to meet the needs of harsh operating conditions. All outputs are isolated from the input and from the other outputs by optical couplers. Every output has its own power supply and line driver. Additionally, it protects itself against electrical storms and miswiring. The Enhanced Splitter allows the connection of DMX receivers (dimmers, color changers, moving lights, etc) in a star configuration as opposed to a daisy chain configuration. In a star configuration, each control cable is run to a central point, in this case, the splitter.
